Bertel Steen has more than 15 years of experience across the shipping, oil & gas, oil services, metals & mining, banking, and financial services industries. He is currently the principal of the Steen Family Office, a financial investment vehicle representing heirs to Bertel O. Steen ASA, a position he has held since 2017. Previously, Bertel acted as partner and director of equity and credit sales in Clarksons Platou Securities AS, advising UK and U.S. based institutional clients on equity and debt investments. Bertel sits on the board of directors of Aprila Bank ASA and Hunter Group ASA. Bertel holds a BSc and MSc in Business and Economics from the Norwegian Business School (BI) and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C).
