Gavin has been the Supply Chain Manager at Dolphin Drilling since March 2022, previously holding other positions at the company as Materials Co-ordinator, Rig Buyer and Procurement Lead since April 2013. Gavin oversees the procurement, logistics and inventory management of goods and services for the offshore fleet. In this role, Gavin leads the Supply Chain team in collaboration with our suppliers and partners to meet rigorous quality, safety and regulatory standards, with a focus on optimising inventory and ensuring timely delivery of goods to remote and challenging locations.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the global offshore drilling industry, Gavin has a proven track record in supporting rig moves, Rig SPS projects, and establishing remote international sites for operations. Prior to joining Dolphin Drilling, he served as a Buyer at Ensco and Diamond Offshore where he managed all aspects of buying and material logistics for their global rig fleet.
Gavin holds a GradCert in Management Studies from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.
