Melissa Clare brings over 26 years of global, cross-functional experience in the upstream oil and gas sector. Built on considerable offshore experience and senior operational roles, she has a comprehensive technical background in wells, rig operations and asset management. Combining technical expertise with strong business acumen, Melissa’s extensive career includes significant global experience in rig marketing and contracts, having held senior residential roles across Europe, West Africa and South East Asia.
Melissa has a strong track record of successfully leading diverse, multi-disciplinary teams across a broad range of organisations, from large public corporations to start-ups. As an independent consultant with deep sector expertise and an extensive global network, she specialises in developing growth-driven strategies.
A Chartered Engineer (CEng MIMechE), Melissa holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) in Mechanical and Offshore Engineering and an Honorary Master’s degree (MUniv) from Robert Gordon University.
