Svein has been the Chief Information Officer at Dolphin Drilling since 2012. In his role, Svein is in charge of our IT infrastructure, communications and operations, in addition to driving our digitalisation initiatives utilising state-of-the art technologies.
With over 35 years of experience in Information Technology, Svein has a proven track record of enabling digital business development and innovations through the use of modern technologies. Prior to joining Dolphin Drilling, he held various roles in the airline industry including CEO and Co-founder at Braathens IT and Vice President IT at Malmo Aviation where he pioneered by inventing new products that transformed ticketing and distribution in leading airlines.
Svein holds a BA in Religion/Sociology and a Master of Science in Informatics from the University of Oslo.
